Michael Leibrock

Managing Director, Credit Risk Management

Michael Leibrock is Managing Director, Credit Risk Management at OCC, the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization. In this role, he is responsible for managing the initial credit approval and ongoing credit monitoring of all OCC Clearing Members.

Previously, Mr. Leibrock served as Managing Director, Head of Credit and Systemic Risk at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), responsible for the identification and monitoring of potential systemic threats to DTCC and for overseeing all counterparty credit risk. Prior to DTCC, he held several senior risk management roles including Chief Counterparty Risk Officer at Fannie Mae and Head of Financial Institutions Credit Risk for Commerzbank A.G.

Mr. Leibrock currently serves as a Part-Time Lecturer at Columbia School of Professional Studies, teaching courses in Financial Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, Risk Regulations in Finance, and Traditional ERM Practices. He is also a member of the Risk Management Association New York Chapter Board of Directors.

Mr. Leibrock holds a doctorate degree in finance and international economics from Pace University Lubin School of Business, as well as a Master of Business Administration in finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
